The Julie Rowen
Foundation was established to assist families that have
dogs with canine cancer through resources and hospice
support, with a special emphasis on service dogs.
Julie, rescued from a trash bin, was
an exhuberant dedicated service dog. She was an agility
champion, as well as very competitive in flyball and dock
diving. She also enjoyed canine freestyle and tracking.
Julie took her responsibility as a
service dog very seriously and executed it with dignity,
inclusive of assisting in the training of new service dogs.
Far more important she was a gentle,
spiritual partner in life. Her handler, Amy, belonged to
her as much as Julie belonged to Amy.
Welcome to Julie's Foundation!
